What does the information on my billing statement mean?

  1. Service dates. Shows the current billing period.
  2. Balance forward. Shows the balance due from the previous month.
  3. Activity summary. Shows any payments and adjustments since the previous month.
  4. Total due. This is the payment amount due for the current billing period.
  5. Payments applied by this date. Payments posted by this date. Any payments received after this date will be shown on the next statement. 
  6. Phone number. This is the number for SCAN Member Services if you have any questions.
  7. Payment stub. Tear this off and send with your payment.
  8. Due date. Shows when the bill is due (your bill is due by the 1st of each month).
  9. Enter amount paid. Write in the payment amount you’re sending.
