Rosemary Ellis is a consultant who helps organizations bridge management gaps and guides processes such as strategic planning and core operations evaluations. She has worked with both nonprofit and private-sector organizations and has advised multiple start-up companies.

Currently she serves as the Executive Director of The Doula Program to Accompany and Comfort, an organization that trains volunteers to serve people in their end stage of life.

Ms. Ellis has led several nonprofits as Interim CEO. From 2006-13, she was Editor-In-Chief of Good Housekeeping, where she oversaw both traditional and emerging media, The Good Housekeeping Research Institute, and all business extensions.

Previously, she was SVP and Editorial Director of the health-focused media brand Prevention, and she has held senior positions at Time Inc. Digital, Self, Travel & Leisure, and Working Woman.

On the SCAN board, Ms. Ellis is a member of the compensation committee and chairs the audit committee. She also chairs the audit committee of The SCAN Foundation. She is on the Board of Engender Health, an international women’s health nonprofit, and is an honorary board member for the Center for Work/Life Law.
