SCAN Health Plan and Imperial Health Holdings Collaborate to Expand California Seniors’ Access to High Quality, Affordable Care

Partnership Provides SCAN Members Access to 1,000 Additional Physicians
LONG BEACH, Calif.—Oct. 16, 2020—SCAN Health Plan®, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage health plans, today announced the addition of Imperial Health Holdings Medical Group to its provider network in Northern and Southern California. This partnership increases the number of physicians SCAN members may now access offering additional options for high quality, affordable health care by 1,000.

Imperial Health’s network serves the communities throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Francisco and Ventura. Physicians and professionals within the medical group—which includes providers from U.C. San Francisco in Northern California—have expertise in managing populations with diabetes, cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease, among other diagnoses.
