HOW DO I USE MY OTC BENEFIT?

1. Look for your SCAN OTC card to come in the mail (if it hasn’t already).

2. Activate your card—just follow the instructions included. The card will have your allowance amount already loaded.

3. Start shopping! Here’s why we recommend shopping at a CVS Pharmacy:

• More selection. Choose from more than 10,000 items for your health and well-being!
• More savings. Take advantage of in-store specials, sales and coupons only available in store. This will help your allowance go even further.
• No waiting for delivery. Use your OTC card at any CVS Pharmacy in the U.S. (except locations inside Target stores).
• Easy checkout. Just swipe your SCAN OTC card and select “credit.” No PIN or ID needed!

WHAT CAN I BUY AT A CVS PHARMACY?

Your OTC benefit is for health and wellness items, and there are more than 10,000 items in-store that qualify.

Here are a few tips:

• Download the CVS app and use it in the store to check if a specific item is covered.
• Look for the blue tags throughout the store. These items are covered, and so are other brands in that same category.
• Ask a CVS crew member. They may even have a catalog to help guide you to covered items.

Yes, you can also order OTC items online, by phone or through the CVS app—whatever is most convenient for you.
