Jamie is committed to ensuring her patients receive the best care for their individual physical and psychosocial needs as they age.

Starting her nursing career in a cardiac unit, Jamie found she loved caring for older patients. After later working in an acute hospital setting, she decided to get an advanced practice degree so she could have more involvement in the day-to-day lives of her patients. Jamie has been a nurse practitioner since 2011.

Jamie provides personalized, holistic care to meet SCAN members’ unique needs. She collaborates with the member, their family, SCAN’s health team and others to manage the member’s acute and chronic health issues and to ensure the best outcomes.

Having grown up living with his grandparents, Jamie has a deep respect for seniors. She values their insightful wisdom and is committed to providing care that honors them. She also finds inspiration in 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Do everything in love.”

Aside from her time with her patients, Jamie enjoys trying out new recipes, learning to play the ukulele and spending time with family and friends.

Jamie holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from University of California, Los Angeles.
