Alyssa is passionate about making sure that the seniors in her care and their loved ones have the information they need to make the best choices for their health.
Alyssa became aware of how poor communication could have negative effects on patient care while working in an emergency room. These experiences inspired Alyssa to build patient relationships based on open and honest dialogue. She enjoys getting to know her patients by listening to their life stories and lessons learned. In this and other ways, Alyssa strives to serve members so that they are excited about their healthcare.
At home, Alyssa enjoys being active with her dog, cooking, throwing dinner parties and flying kites.
Alyssa received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. She is currently working toward a Doctorate in Nursing Practice through Walden University.
