“Knowing that I can positively impact an older patient’s health and improve their quality of life inspires me to provide the best possible care,” Dr. Parise says.
Before joining SCAN, Dr. Parise practiced for more than 13 years in a traditional primary care practice where patients came to her for their care. Now a member of the SCAN Embrace team, she welcomes the opportunity to take care of senior patients with chronic medical conditions where they are in their communities.
“I enjoy caring for older adults because of the richness of their life experiences and the complexity of their medical conditions,” she says. An experienced listener, Dr. Parise likes to get to know her patients well so she can provide holistic care for their overall health and well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Parise enjoys gardening, baking and spending time with family.
Dr. Parise received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Butler University and a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at University of California, San Diego. Credentials: MD
