“Taking care of my patients inspires me and allows me to be a part of something larger than myself,” says Dr. Waterman. From a young age, Dr. Waterman knew he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and help those in need. He chose a career in medicine because it blended his desire to care for others and his interest in the wonders of human physiology.

Committed to transforming healthcare and making a positive impact on the world, Dr. Waterman joined SCAN. “I wanted to join an innovative, mission-driven company that could help fix our broken healthcare system,” he says. One of the things that excites Dr. Waterman is the opportunity to deliver care directly to patients in their homes, when they want it and where they need it. “Most of my patients can’t drive, and many of them may even be wheelchair or bedbound. Building strong connections with his patients is essential to Dr. Waterman, and he looks forward to getting to know each member intimately.

Dr. Waterman received a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University, a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, and a Medical Degree from USC’s Keck School of Medicine.
