Rachel considers her job of making sure older adults get the best care a way to give back to people who spent their lives caring for others. She’s excited to bring SCAN’s integrated delivery system to her patients so they can access quality healthcare in the comfort of their homes.

Rachel was first drawn to caring for older adults in high school when she witnessed the care that nurses provided to her grandmother after a stroke. Rachel sees her patients as someone’s loved one and strives to provide them with the care she would want for her family.

A nurse practitioner since 2006, Rachel is inspired by her patients and loves hearing their life stories and the wisdom that comes from them. They remind her of a favorite quote: “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so they can be great in whatever they want to do.” Rachel finds and gives inspiration in other areas of her life, too—on the sports field with her sons, volunteering, attempting to cook and bake, crafting, and working out.

Rachel holds a Master of Science in Nursing from University of California, Los Angeles. In May 2022, she expects to complete a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from University of Massachusetts Global.
