When we ask members what they think of SCAN, there’s one thing we hear over and over: “SCAN has heart.” So when it came time to design a new logo, we used that as our inspiration.
While the heart is meaningful, we knew we had to bring a fresh look to a familiar image. So to make it truly unique—and truly SCAN—we added the beams radiating off the heart.
Twelve beams to be exact. To represent our 12 founding seniors. More than 47 years later, they remain the heart of SCAN.
