Gemma became a nurse because of the admiration and respect she had for healthcare professionals who cared for her during an extended illness as a child. Their compassionate care made her determined to pursue a career where she would be able to help others the way she was helped.

Gemma is inspired in her work to help others who cannot help themselves. Many seniors are vulnerable and underserved, and Gemma is excited for the opportunity to provide her patients with the high-quality and compassionate care they deserve.

When not caring for the healthcare needs of her patients, Gemma can often be found out-of-doors gardening or hiking.

Gemma has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mary Chiles University and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix.
